Our Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy & Personal Data Collection Statement · Effective 31 January 2026 In compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong Data Protection Officer · [email protected]

CloudRadium(HK) Limited ("CloudRadium", "we", "us") is committed to complying with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). We have established appropriate systems and ensure our staff comply with the legal standards of security and confidentiality.

This Statement explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you.

01Scope & Our Commitment

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected by CloudRadium in connection with our services and this website. It does not apply to the content that customers transmit or host through our services, over which — as a network and hosting provider operating at the physical and L2/L3-L4 layers — we exercise no editorial control and of which we have no knowledge.

02Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • identity and business details (name, business registration information, authorized-representative details);
  • contact details (email, telephone, address);
  • account and billing information (services subscribed, payment records);
  • technical and usage data collected automatically when you visit our website, such as IP address, domain-name-server address, and pages visited (collected in aggregate for statistics and for the prevention and detection of crime).

Providing personal data to us is voluntary; however, if you do not provide the data necessary to establish or operate a service, we may be unable to provide that service to you.

03Purposes of Collection

We collect and use personal data for purposes directly related to our business, including: processing applications and provisioning services; account administration, billing and collection; customer support and handling of complaints, inquiries and feedback; identity verification and prevention of fraud and abuse; maintaining the security and integrity of our network; meeting our legal, regulatory and licence obligations; and, where permitted, direct marketing (see Clause 5).

04Cookies & Tracking

Some information is gathered through the use of "cookies" — small pieces of information stored on your web browser that can be retrieved by the sites you visit. You may be asked to enable cookies in your browser. Our use of this technology does not mean we automatically know any information about you, and your acceptance of our cookie in no way gives us access to your computer. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website functions may then not operate properly.

05Use & Direct Marketing

5.1 We use personal data only for the purposes set out in this Policy or a directly related purpose, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

5.2 With your consent, we may use your name and contact details to send you eNewsletters, promotional and new-service updates, and invitations. We will not so use your personal data without your consent.

You may opt out of direct marketing at any time, free of charge, by contacting our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or using the unsubscribe facility in the relevant message. We will cease to so use your data upon receiving your request.

06Disclosure & Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data held by us is kept confidential, save in compliance with the stated purposes of our business. We may provide such data to:

  • any personnel, agent, adviser, auditor, contractor or service provider who provides services or advice to us in connection with our operations;
  • any person under a duty of confidentiality to us;
  • any person to whom we are required or permitted to make disclosure under any law applicable in or outside Hong Kong, or pursuant to a lawful request by a competent authority.

Where data is transferred to a service provider outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is afforded a comparable level of protection. As we have no control over the acts of any third party, this Policy ceases to apply to information disclosed to a third party in accordance with it; we endeavour to deal only with responsible third parties but assume no responsibility for the privacy protection provided by them.

07Security

We use secured encryption systems as appropriate when collecting personal data over the Internet, and operate our information-security management in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. Personal data, whether stored electronically or in hard copy, is accessible only by our authorized employees or authorized agents (e.g. auditors, contractors, advisers), who are familiarized with this Policy and instructed on how to fulfil our obligations.

08Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as specified at the time of collection, or as required to satisfy our legal, regulatory and licence obligations, after which it will be erased or anonymized.

09Your Rights: Access & Correction

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and to ascertain our policies and practices in relation to personal data. We may charge a reasonable fee for complying with a data-access request as permitted by law. To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email at [email protected].
